About Vanessa Olink Art

Hi, I’m Vanessa ,

A surface pattern designer and mockup creator.

​

I have an international background and now live on the French Riviera in Cannes, where my everyday life is a blend of cultures. I studied Fine Arts in New York and Paris before pursuing a master’s degree in Haute Couture.

​

My journey into surface pattern design began out of necessity. I struggled to find fabrics that matched my creative vision while working in fashion, so I started transforming my own artwork into patterns. What began as a fabric solution soon evolved into something much bigger. I realized my designs could extend far beyond textiles and live across many different surfaces. That’s how Vanessa Olink Art was born.

As my work expanded, I became increasingly frustrated with the lack of realistic, versatile mockups available. Many offered limited customization, restricting how designs could be presented. That’s when I began creating my own. My goal is to design high-quality, highly editable mockups that allow designers to showcase not just a single pattern, but entire collections with depth and realism.

​

I run my business while balancing life as a mom, working around my daughter’s schedule (shout-out to all the amazing single parents out there, you are incredible!).

​

Surface pattern design and mockup creation are more than just work for me. They are my passion, a gift I believe was placed in me for a reason.
